Ao Region of NSCN (IM) restates the Framework Agreement

The August 3, 2015 Framework Agreement shall serve as the foundation for any political resolution between the Government of India and the NSCN, as stated by the Ao Regional Authority of NSCN (IM).

According to a news statement from the MIP, NSCN (IM), the declaration was made during the Ao Region National Workers (Civil Wing) consultative meeting on October 30 at Longphayimsen, under Mokokchung district.

The meeting was presided over by L Yanger Pongen, Member, Collective Leadership. It also stated that Kilonsers, Dy.Kilonsers, Leacy, Razou Peyu, and Khapur were among the Executive Members and Members of the Steering Committee that attended.
