45th Raising Day of NSCN-IM
44 years ago, on this day (31/01/1980), National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) was formed to safeguard and maintain the fundamental principles of Sovereign Independent Christian Socialist Democratic Republic of Nagalim. NSCN swore to restore the damaged image of Naga National Council and to fight for “Unquestionable Sovereignty”.

Tukutu addressed the meeting and stressed that the NSCN-IM would remain committed to the Naga cause and uphold its unique reputation.

Tuku said the NSCN(IM) is fighting against the times, demonstrating the strength of the organization over the years. He appreciated the dedication, courage and commitment of its members to Naga politics despite the rapidly changing circumstances.
Tuccu stressed the significance of the Framework Agreement, acknowledging the difficulties faced but affirming their steadfast stand on its implementation as the only viable and ideal solution to the longstanding Naga political issue.
Adopted the slogan ‘Nagaland for Christ.’ Let us give honor to God in letter and spirit. Remember that He will never leave us when confronted with the hardest times. Let us trust Him as we connect our political struggle under His guidance and promises,” urged Chairman Q Tuccu.
