𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝.

𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, the student suffered severe injuries, including damage to his left eardrum, a fractured spinal cord, and a swollen kidney as a result of the assault.

The All Nagaland College Students Union (𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐒𝐔), 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 by police personnel.

ANCSU called upon all right-thinking citizens and organisations to join them in vehemently condemning such criminal acts. They emphasised the importance of delivering justice to the innocent victim and preventing similar incidents from occurring in the future.

The concerned department to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into the matter and to take appropriate action against the unjust police personnel involved.

ANCSU appeals for collective efforts to restore faith in law enforcement agencies and to ensure the creation of a safer and more just society for all citizens.
