NSCN- K Khango President Khango Konyak has issued a statement amid the controversy surrounding the impeachment of Ato Kilonser Isak Sumi. President Khango Konyak clarified on his decision to impeach Isak Sumi from the faction as Sumi’s actions were found to be unsatisfactory. Khango said that the move has been taken to clean up the dirt within the group. He further said the whole issue is an internal kitchen matter of the faction hence has no connection with anyone else.
Khango Konyak also urged the Sumi leaders and organizations to abstain from any kind of non- cooperation, a decision taken on January 5. Konyak also expressed dismay over the stand of convener of NNPG Working Committee Kitovi Zhimomi
