Mysteriously 17 Naga’s Houses Caught Fire

Around 17 Naga’s houses were gutted after a fire broke out at Nyamo Lotha Colony in the Khermahal area of Nagaland’s Dimapur  The incident took place at around 12:30 pm and caused extensive damage to property and vehicles in the vicinity.

Multiple firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire within an hour. But the amount of property damage cannot be controlled.

Thousands of coins were burned as many people kept their money at home. Most of the people living in the area are daily wage workers and foreign workers.

“Many people lost money and property. People from all walks of life live here, many of whom gamble every day. Unfortunately, many tenants have lost their property as a result of these events. They also lost money. They are poor and don’t keep their money in banks. They keep them in their houses. Unfortunately, all the money was burned because of what happened. Nyamo Lotha Koroni chairman and Gaonbura said some people had lost a lot of money.
