We have gathered here today with great emotion and deep sadness to pay tribute to our comrade Col. Retd. Thsachoba Sangtam, Executive Member, Steering Committee, NSCN.

Col. Thsachoba, who joined the Naga national service in 1978, had served the Nation with commitment till his last breath. His determination to carry on despite trying circumstances demonstrated his commitment to duties and responsibilities. In his own quiet and calm manner, he had shown how to work through challenging times and carry everyone along. Words cannot ease the pain and grief. We salute and honour him for the supreme sacrifice he has paid for the interest of the Nation.

I offer my sincere condolence to the bereaved family and friends. I pray that God’s grace comforts you. In rest, may he find peace!

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

1st December, 2022

I am deeply saddened that late Col. Retd. Thsachoba Sangtam, Steering Executive Member, is no more with us after a prolonged illness at Referral Hospital, Dimapur. It is a tragedy for the NSCN and for the Naga Nation. From whatever we have known him he was one of the rare untainted leaders with a commendable commitment for the cause of Freedom of Nagalim. His untimely demise is an irreparable loss to the entire Nation.

Late Col. Retd. Thsachoba Sangtam hailed from Alisopor village under United Sangtam Region (USR). He joined the National service in the year 1978. The void created by his demise is felt and would be difficult to fill in. His name shall be archived in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered at all times to come.

In this hour of grief, I extend my revolutionary salute to the departed soul, and pledge my solidarity and my support to the grieved family.

May the departed soul rest in peace!

It is saddened to learn the untimely demise of late Thsachoba Sangtam, Steering Committee Executive Member, NSCN, on the 1st December, 2022 at Referral Hospital, Dimapur. He joined the Naga National Movement at a very young age and served till he breathed his last. Indeed, we have lost a man of great integrity whose contribution towards the Nation will be remembered by one and all. The void left behind by his untimely demise will be irreplaceable in the days to come.

We the Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) deeply mourns and conveys our sincere condolences to the bereaved family members. May the Almighty God grant peace to the departed soul!
