NSU Organize its 4th Literary Event

The Naga Students’ Union, Phagwara, Punjab, currently concluded its 4th Literary Event, Literary Odyssey, on the theme “Preserving Naga Culture through Literary and Art.” The event, held on October 28 showcased the outstanding literary and artistic talents of Naga students. The event’s success was once made viable by using the diligent efforts of Literary Secretary Meriyani ungoe and Assistant Literary Secretary Moakala Jamir. Their dedication and ardour for literature were key to the event’s success. Hills FM Nagaland, the official social media partner, performed massive function in amplifying the event’s reach. Prof. Dr. Tanima Dutta used to be the Guest of Honour. Sarovino Zumvü, the President of the Naga Students Union, emphasized the importance of literary competitions in nurturing and bettering the skills of students. She expressed her dedication to persevering with such occasions to empower students with possibilities to showcase their abilities and to motivate the renovation of Naga way of life through literary and inventive expressions. Winners of the competitions: Essay: 1st – Tejokevi Sothu 2nd – Alelie Keditsu Poetry: 1st – Jonina Sapu 2nd – Limatula Ozukum Art: 1st -Visezonu Natso 2nd – Neivisienuo Zuyie The winners received money prizes and signed books of poems “Slingstones” by means of Mmhonlümo Kikon
