Nagaland Municipal Bill of 2023 will be examined by the 7 members
The Nagaland Municipal Bill of 2023 will be examined by the seven-member NLA Select Committee, which will meet on November 2 at 11 AM at the Rhododendron Hall, Police Complex, Chümoukedima. According to a formal statement from the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat, TR Zelaing, the deputy chief minister and committee convenor, has asked all members to make sure they attend the meeting. It should be mentioned that the NLA Speaker, who announced the creation of the committee to examine the Bill on September 14, did so after the bill had only been introduced in the Assembly two days earlier. Ministers KG Kenye, P Paiwang Konyak, Jacob Zhimomi, and Metsubo Jamir; advisors Mhathung Yanthan and Zhaleo Rio; and the NLA Secretary-In-Charge serving as the Member Secretary round out the committee members, in addition to Zeliang.
