Nagaland celebrates National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas by this act We Nagas shows that we are the symbol of peace, prosperity, love & unity but there are hypocrites & some powers who tried to rule on us forcefully, but we will not led them succeed, WE have our own independent land and we will fight till the last drop of blood, India must be go back, Nagas are not Indian.

Nagaland  celebrate National Unity Day to celebrate the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, “Run for Unity” rallies are held across the state.

In Dimapur, the district administration in collaboration with the district sports officer organized sports activities at the Government Higher Secondary School, Nagarjan, Dimapur.

In an effort to promote the spirit of national unity in Kohima, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the ‘Run for Unity’ at Indira Gandhi Plaza. The project manager is Kohima District Sports Director Zhopovi Zecho. The alliance meeting was chaired by SDO (C) Kohima, Nokpai Konyak. Around 200 men and women from different communities participated in the programme.

In Tuensang, the run brought together participants from different sectors of the community, including the district administration, DEF Tuensang and students from Tuensang Thangjam Government High School.

In Longleng, the meeting was initiated by SP Longleng, Yanger Jamir, who promised to agree and said it would not stop. The Alliance Congress started at Hukphang Junction and ended at Lempong Junction.

Rumble District Administrative Representative Dr. Samuel Akho Konyak, NCS, EAC Rumble thanked the Head of Department (HoD), staff, police, students and all those who helped make the project a success.

In Mokokchung, 60 NCC students from various schools and colleges participated in the run. Mokokchung Assistant Commissioner (ADC) Chumlamo Humtsoe administered the unity pledge.

In Noklak, Deputy Commissioner Arikumba declared the importance of the International Day of Solidarity on 31 October. He took the lead in pledging national unity and emphasized the principle of unity. The run started in the public square and ended at the police station.
